    Was just running in the park when a massive beast of a rottweiler came hurtling out the bushes (chasing another dog) and clattered into me full tilt, honestly knocked me about a foot in the air. Utterly cynical, definite yellow card 📒

    As a lot of people are sharing this thread about Mark - the only thing you need to read on the sodding Vampire Castle and reductive 'class v ID politics' BS is pp.17-22 here by Jem Gilbert, totally cutting through the crap

    Reading K-Punk by Mark Fisher. I had endless disagreements with the man but tbh I miss him terribly. Reading with a mix of excitement & admiration as well as dismay & rage that the Left allowed itself to be taken over by the entitled performative liberal middle-class woke brigade

    Darned shame didn't get this. 'Inner City Pressure' a superb 'in' on grime and a terrific socio-historical sweep through London since the 90s, black culture, gentrification, the failed New Labour project, toxic Tory austerity and so much more. Search out the playlist👊
