Much has been made of the possible Sanders vs Warren showdown on the debate stage, but after talking to voters in Iowa many progressive voters don't seem to view it as an "either or" situation. They like both and are more focused on the issues. Our report from Fort Madison, IA.

Clearly a reference to Sanders troubles with his campaign's union negotiations. Sanders passed on the chance to give his viewpoint on that issue when I spoke to him today.

A big part of the campaign is attempting to win over Trump voters. Today he ventured into Union County, IA which gave 65% of its votes to Trump in 2016. Here is Sanders- not missing a beat- signing an autograph for a kid in a MAGA hat.

This is a unique setting.. voters talk about their situation and peppers them with questions wanting to learn more. This woman told Sanders she’s getting her paperwork in order to move to another country, “because I don’t see things getting better here.”
