We do not offer in house catering or audio visual support. A special events coordinator will be happy to assist with recommendations upon request.
The museum is open to the public from 11:30am to 7:00pm. Evening special events can begin at 7:00pm when the museum closes to the public. The Courtyard, Great Hall and Luce Center can be closed early for an additional fee.
Your vendors are permitted to load-in and set items such as staging and lighting from 7:00am to 11:00am. Your vendors can return at 3:00pm to finish set up around the public
We are located directly above the Gallery-Place Chinatown (Red, Yellow, and Green) WMATA station and are a short two block walk from the Metro Center (Silver, Blue, Orange, Red) WMATA Station.
Yes, you can download the museum floor plan. You'll find the Courtyard and entrance to the McEvoy Auditorium on the first floor, the Portico on the second floor, and the Luce Center and Great Hall on the third floor.
