antifa notes (may 9, 2018) : aryan nations, murder, right wing resistance, muzak

[Update (May 13) : Yeah nah — Hellraiser IX (see below) has been cancelled — or at least, is no longer taking place at The Last Chance; ‘BANNED BY ANTIFA’ according to the nazi wankers from Woodend. Talk about melodrama … ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Update (May 10) : It appears as though Hellraiser IX will no longer be taking place at The Last Chance as the venue has removed the gig from its Facebook page.]

Briefly:

Ordinary Mums & Dads

Yesterday, Perth couple Robert Wayne Edhouse, 22, and Melony Jane/Jayne Attwood (Taylor), 37, were sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder in April 2016 of Alan Taylor, 42. Edhouse and Attwood were members of neo-Nazi grouplet ‘Aryan Nations’. The pair also played host to their comrades in the now-defunct ‘United Patriots Front’ when they travelled from Melbourne to Perth to attend the ‘Reclaim Australia’ rally in November 2015. UPF fuehrer Blair Cottrell took the opportunity to announce the launch of the UPF’s stillborn political party, ‘Fortitude’, at his comrades’ house — which only five months later was the site of the grisly murder.

Note that the ‘Aryan Nations’ in Perth re-badged themselves as ‘Combat 18’ following the arrest of Edhouse, while the UPF is now organising around ‘The Lads Society’ in Cheltenham, a project which also incorporates members of neo-Nazi grouplet ‘Antipodean Resistance’.

Patriotik Yoof Down Under

Speaking of Aussie Pride, the little nazis of Antipodean Resistance (AR) have been profiled by Julie Nathan for the ABC’s Religion & Ethics blog. See : Antipodean Resistance: The Rise and Goals of Australia’s New Nazis, April 20, 2018. (Versions of the article have also appeared on the Times of Israel and Executive Council of Australian Jewry website.)

On April 21, the Sydney Criminal Lawyers website also published ‘The Rise of Australian Neo-Nazis: An Interview with Online Activist Slackbastard’ by Paul Gregoire, which discusses AR in the context of a broader discussion of fascism and the far right Down Under.

Right Wing Resistance & Ethan Tilling

Last week, Sean Rubinsztein-Dunlop, Suzanne Dredge, and Michael Workman of ABC Investigations dropped ‘From Neo-Nazi to militant: The foreign fighters in Ukraine who Australia’s laws won’t stop’:

When Australian former Neo-Nazi and registered gun owner Ethan Tilling flew into Brisbane this year, he was returning under the radar of Australian authorities with newfound combat experience from a brutal and forgotten war.

Mr Tilling, who was until recently a member of the Nazi group Right Wing Resistance, had spent the Australian spring in the bitter cold of Eastern Ukraine firing Kalashnikovs, rocket launchers and grenades at Russian-backed separatists …

Go Ethan!

Members of RWRAU were in attendance at last year’s ‘True Blue Crew’ flagwit parade, which will be regurgitating racism and fascism onto Melbourne’s streets again this year; in response, the Campaign Against Racism & Fascism has organised an event titled ‘Unite to Stop The Far Right’ (Sunday, June 24). Note that in September 2016 another RWRAU hero, Ricky White, was arrested for allegedly setting fire to a church in Taree, NSW (but I dunno what the outcome was).

National Socialist muzak

Neo-Nazis in the local metal scene have organised a gig at The Last Chance Reich Rock ‘n’ Roll Bar on Saturday, June 9. Dubbed ‘Hellraiser IX’, the gig is being hosted by ‘Australibus Tenebris’ and features the glittering talents of Vrag (TAS), Belligerent Intent, Goatblood and Molog.

Above (L to R) : Joey Edwards, Neil Erikson, Dan Newman, Richard Whelan, Gareth/Jack Sansom @ State Library of Victoria, September 2012.

For those of you coming in late, the Hellraisers were originally organised by Nazi-in-Vrag Gareth Jack Sansom, under the auspices of ‘White Noise Productions’. As WNP, Sansom organised various gigs around town, including ‘Hellraiser IV’ at The Tote in December 2011 (the last time I paid attention), and released albums by ‘Perseverance’, among others, in 2011 and 2013, while Sansom also established ‘War Doctrine’ in order to release neo-Nazi muzak by his own band Waffenbrüder (2010–2014) and a handful of others. After publishing a White Nationalist manifesto (A Reckoning Force, 2012), Sansom buggered off to Tasmania, where he continues to make muzak and propaganda and to organise with his neo-Nazi chums.

Responsibility for Raising Hell now belongs to UPF fanboy Luke Nukem of ‘Australibus Tenebris’ (AT, 2013–):

In addition to the usual Blackness, the label distros a range of exciting products, including a 7″ co-released with NSBM label ‘Darker Than Black Records’:

One of the most notorious of the early NSBM bands were Germany’s Absurd, who collectively lured 15-year old Sandro Beyer to his murder in 1993. Led by Hendrik Möbus, the Beyer killing was allegedly motivated by Beyer spreading rumors about the band, including the salient gossip that Möbus had been carrying on an affair with a married woman. While the murder itself was not deemed political in nature, Möbus has always been vocal in his neo-Nazism, having violated his probation shortly out of prison by performing the Nazi salute in concert, and the man currently operates a self-described NSBM record label called Darker Than Black.

The 7″ by WewelSSburg and AT’s Rattenkönig is just one of many similar releases on AT, and if the booker at The Last Chance knew how to use a search engine and/or was familiar with the genre, they’d find much more neo-Nazi nonsense associated with the above artistes and their various projekts.

antifa notes (march 2, 2015) : Reclaim Australia (etc.)

To celebrate my return to Facebook I thought I may as well post some further notes on the Reclaim Australia rally along with a handful of other bits + pieces.

Reclaim Australia

ramel

1)

Thus far, there are counter-rallies and actions being organised to oppose ‘Reclaim Australia’ (RA) in Adelaide, Melbourne, Newcastle, Perth and Sydney. Some heart may be taken from the action in Newcastle, England on the weekend, which witnessed a large number of Novocastrians unite to express condemnation of the first PEGIDA rally to be held on English soil. (See : Britain’s first PEGIDA anti-Islamisation demonstration dwarfed by 2,000 counter-protesters in Newcastle, ABC, March 1, 2015.) Among those joining PEGIDA were the National Front, Golden Dawn and assorted other radical right-wing elements. Similar groups will be joining the RA rallies in Australia.

2)

In Perth, the RA rally is scheduled to take place at Solidarity Park, a traditional rallying point for unions. Unions WA have been contacted to ascertain their views on the subject of anti-Muslim prejudice, racism and xenophobia. More news on this as it comes to hand.

3)

As noted previously, RA propagandist Shermon Burgess has some interesting friends, among them a neo-Nazi groupuscule called ‘Nationalist Republican Guard’ (NRG — several members in photo above). Burgess gives NRG props for their assistance in the production of a number of YouTube vids promoting the RA; for their part, NRG acknowledges the inspiration and political leadership of one Adolf Hitler. Hurr hurr.

Australia First Party

4)

As well as participating in RA, AFP held an anti-Muslim meeting in Penrith on February 28. Originally booked at a CWA building, the booking was cancelled after the nature of the event became clear to the Association: Australia First Party 0 /// Country Women’s Association NSW 1. The party attracts a range of oddball supporters, ranging from frothing-at-the-mouth anti-Semites to old skool labourists. The Stormfront poster and AFP supporter above extols the virtues of US neo-Nazi website Daily Stormer’s online campaign of harassment ‘Operation: Filthy Jew Bitch’ (directed at UK MP Luciana Berger) and ‘Operation: Filthy Chink Rat’ (directed at Australian Race Discrimination Commissioner Tim Soutphommasane). The site’s campaign against Australian Muslim Mariam Veiszadeh brought it a good deal moar attention (as intended) but also very many expressions of support for Veiszadeh via the Twitter hashtag #IStandWithMariam (see : I will not be silenced: Australian Muslim fights Twitter ‘troll army’, Hilary Whiteman, CNN, February 28, 2015).

5)

AFP is fielding a handful of candidates in the NSW state election (March 28): Alex Norwick in Wyong, Tania Rollinson in Hawkesbury and Victor Waterson (below, far right) in Penrith. Perhaps the main point of interest will be in Penrith, where the party is attempting to ride the recent wave of local anti-Muslim agitation.

Squadron 88

6)

Sydney-based neo-Nazis Squadron 88 (S88) have been stuffing letterboxes with poorly-composed racist tracts again, this time under the guise of side-project ‘Cultural Awareness’. Ho hum. The group has had a tempestuous relationship with their comrades in the AFP as this dummy spit by one member on Stormfront would suggest, accusing AFP of accusing the leader of S88 of being a police informant. Which way veteran neo-Nazi Ross ‘The Skull’ May (the group’s mascot) will jump is an interesting question.

Right Wing Resistance New Zealand

7)

RWRNZ is Kyle ‘The Mormon’ Chapman’s latest vanity project. Since its establishment in 2009 the neo-Nazi group has been doing all the things you’d expect of such a group but its latest venture is bizarre, even for Chapman. Apparently, RWRNZ is intending to send some of its members to South Africa to receive (para-)military training(!):

For the serious of heart […] [w[]e are now recruiting those willing to train in South Africa. This is a country hostile toward whites. But it is also w[h]ere our movement has the most trained war veterans and the potential to train you to military standards. It is not very safe, so internet warriors need not apply. For those still in the dream that everything is ok, just look on and ignore this post. For those who are serious about this movement, and see that we are destined to fight one day. Then we offer you the chance to learn for [sic] great soldiers. You would have to pay your own way, [w]e can set up links and secured [sic] communications for those who are willing. Don[‘]t waste my time though, and don’t waste these guy[‘]s time. The fact we are doing this on FB is risky, but it is also a sign that in times of need, higher risk is taken.

rwrnz

Fortunately for them, RWRNZ is a neo-Nazi, Whites-only project, so unlikely to be accorded ‘terrorist’ status.

White Pride Christchurch Wide

Pot-bellied Mormon Kyle Chapman led some 100 or so neo-Nazis and White nationalist liquorice all-sorts (mostly boneheads) in a march in Christchurch on Saturday, March 24 as part of ‘White Pride World Wide Day’ celebrations. Much smaller groups assembled in Canada for the occasion tho’ nowhere else it seems. Stuff:

More than 100 Right-wing supremacists, bearing the message “White pride worldwide”, marched through Riccarton at the weekend.

Kyle Chapman, who fronts the group Right Wing Resistance, said it was the “most successful” Right-wing protest staged in New Zealand.

“It was very successful because of the amount of people we had, the sunshine and the lack of drama and disruption from Left-wing activists,” he said.

Most of the group were wearing matching black T-shirts, camouflage pants and black boots.

Some carried signs that read, “It’s alright to be white”, as they walked down Deans Ave on Saturday.

Chapman said the march attracted about 115 people.

For the past four years Right Wing Resistance has lead an opposition rally as close as possible to Racial Harmony Day, which was on March 21.

Chapman said the group publicly oppose the day because “it’s a load of crap”.

Riccarton seems like a neat place for a ‘White Pride’ march. Last September, 20-year-old bonehead Jared Levi Peck was sentenced to two years and four months jail for a series of racially-motivated assaults; for his part, 17-year-old co-offender Michael Holme got six months home detention, while on March 5, 2012 another man, 25-year-old David Alan Dooley, was found guilty of assault charges and is awaiting sentencing. And while the police/state hatesss the nasssty Tūhoe & Co, Chapman’s kameraden in the Survive Club are free to play wargames to their hearts’ content.

RaHoWa!

RWRNZ ~versus~ ZOG // 2011 NZ Election

LOL.

Kiwi fascist Kyle Chapman and some of his kameraden belonging to Right Wing Resistance New Zealand (RWRNZ) gate-crashed an election meeting in Christchurch last Thursday.

New Zealand goes to the poles next Thursday.

Oddly enough, TVNZ (‘Thugs’ say debate stunt a ‘warning’ to New Zealand) quotes RWRNZ’s Facebook (sic) page, which in turn quotes FDB!, to the effect that:

New Zealand Right Wing Resistance / Right Wing Resistance New Zealand (RWRNZ) is a fascist street gang, mostly composed of boneheads (neo-Nazi skinheads), and led by veteran fascist militant (and Mormon) Kyle Chapman.

LOL.

Chapman’s last publicity stunt was distroing leaflets warning citizens of an Asian Invasion.

As for the left and the election, Mana appears to be attracting the most support (and certainly couldn’t do as badly as the Residents Action Movement done in 2008) while, disappointingly, the Workers’ Party is not fielding any candidates (and the Greens gonna continue to occupy a few seats in Parliament).

On a brighter note, the (Don’t F*ck With The) Communist League also gonna contest the election… but can its two brave candidates gain moar than the 74 votes the League received in 2008? (Oh. I also spotted a handful of Communist League members at the Occupy Sydney rally but sadly failed to procure any of their agitprop.)
