    airline operations 24x7x 365 require at the most 7 sets of crew, i.e 14 pilots. This caters for leave, sickness, sim training etc. WHY 40 pilots. Ideally conduct line training of IAF pilots on deputation to AI for six months

    I am not surprised. Bureaucracy has become a big drag on Ji's dynamic international reach. Babus who can't write a simple release on small shops reopening & send multiple clarifications, can't surely be expected to rewrite industrial & commercial policies. ji

    If there is 1 real opportunity to seize in this pandemic, it is the opportunity to clear the slums in our metros. Clear the slums once 4 all, reconstruct housing 4 displaced people. The resulting urban renewal will boost the economy like nothing else.

    Social distancing means the poor first pay with their livelihoods. Then, those caught up in hotspots cannot escape from them. They don’t have the luxury of social distancing within hotspots. There they wait to pay with their lives with only desperate hope 4 solace.

    Can please clarify, what are we to do about problems that are not health emergencies but urgent? Plumbing failures for home, sanitation in housing societies can wait a day but not a month. Electric repairs. What if a fridge breaks down? We need info & guidelines.
