Captain GetUp is a disturbing peek into the id of Australian conservatism. After the billboard some more misogyny, dressed up as an attack on ALP, but part of an attempt to make gender a political strategy by attacking women. This election, conservatives, your hate reign ends.

Happy Monday folks! I'm on tonight with Malcolm "climate-not-real" Roberts and Senator "resign-if-you-don’t-approve-Adani" McGrath so make sure you tune in to hear about the Greens plan for a better future for all of us (and for moral support)!

47,570 ft jobs a year would be created in Queensland under the Greens plan to rapidly transform Australia’s energy system to renewables by 2030. Queenslanders need and deserve real jobs that last – not fake jobs and false promises like those made by Adani

Giving out all the jobs for the boys ... just call the damn election so people can have their say on who gets YOUR job, Prime Minister

ANAO finds NAIF lacked transparency and made inconsistent decisions. Too right! We Greens criticised NAIF as totally opaque and a slush fund to appease Nats who wanted it to fund . Nth Aus needs clean green infrastructure, not new fossil fuels to wreck land, water &climate!

Safe access zone legislation outside abortion clinics is here to stay in Australia, after a High Court decision that the laws are not unconstitutional. Harassing a person seeking medical care is not free speech or political freedom. It’s harassment.

The LNP has kowtowed to it’s coal-loving, climate-denying bullies and their fossil fuel donors under the guise of “jobs”, and our weak enviro laws couldn’t stop them. Regional Queensland needs real jobs that last – not fake jobs and false promises from Adani.

If you read the detail of the reports, it’s clear the scientists say there’s massive concern and the minister has ignored it because she’s under political pressure to tick off on this.

Enviro Minister has bowed to bullies in her own party and agreed to put our precious groundwater at risk. Shorten’s Labor MUST come out now and say where they stand on Adani’s climate-wrecking, Reef-bleaching & job-destroying mega coal mine. Qld needs real clean energy jobs now!

It’s time for fixed election dates and an end to the rort that is taxpayer funded advertising for government propaganda in the lead up to an election. C’mon Bill let’s work together to fix this.

Just your daily reminder the tax cuts and surplus in the budget are enough to fully fund for all Australians, increase Newstart, build 500k new affordable homes, invest $10b to fight climate change AND provide Medicare-funded dental

Canavan and the Nats’ support for sells out farmers who need that water, and a safe climate. Farmers get what the climate is doing to their land, they want action too! Nats abandoned farmers years ago and back coal seam gas and coal wrecking our land, water and climate.

Adani is a key issue for Qlders. We want action on climate change, cheaper power, and the jobs boom from renewables. Canavan should make good on his threat to quit Cabinet over this, Nats are stuck in the past. Qlders want clean energy & transition off coal that supports workers!

. on Senator threatening to quit cabinet over the approval delay on Adani: This demonstrates the Qld Nationals see this as a redline issue. They fear they are going to lose badly in Qld and this is the number one issue for voters. MORE:

Will the PM personally intervene and approve Adani’s climate, water and job-destroying mine? If election is called, Labor will have to take a position on the water plan under caretaker mode. Greens are the only party who want to . Clean jobs for Qld instead!

Good first step, Qld Govt, with the register of black lung and other work-related silicosis diseases. Everyone should come home safe from their workplace. Coal miners should not be dying on our watch, 100yrs after we though black lung was eradicated!
