    Tragic. Thanks to firefighters who have reportedly saved the main structure. I hope that at some point soon humanity gets to stop watching beautiful things burn. I don’t want this to become the leitmotif of our generation.

    Pauline Hanson has come to South Australia vying for votes. Says she wants a new coal power plant in our state. Ridiculous. South Australians are big supporters of renewables and proud of it. She should go back to Queensland and keep her toxic politics away from SA.

    Terrible news. Deepest sympathies to all involved, you did not deserve this. It's in the interest of the Aus people that the gov release information regarding what has occurred here in our name.

    Unfortunately one of our friends who was in Manus for about five years and deported to Vietnam by the Auatarlian gov was killed. His application was rejected by immigration many times and he was forced back to danger.

    I think I heard on say 1.5C was the ‘higher end of Paris threshold’. Sadly, it’s the lower end, and without a major international effort, we will blow by that level, possibly before 2030. Reef’s outlook is really dire, but somehow that doesn’t irk us...
