Firstly we would like to wish all CubeCart merchants a very happy and prosperous new year. We hope you had a very merry Christmas with friends and family.

In 2019 we have a lot planned...

Q1
CubeCart Hosted will be launched. Currently in testing stage it will be possible to launch a hosted CubeCart store by simply entering your email address on a form. Your store login will be sent via email in seconds. More info to follow in coming weeks.

6.2.3 will be launched. Many may have noticed a slight slowdown in development. This has been for two reason. The first reason is that 6.2.2 is really very stable and secondly that we have been channeling our energy into our soon to be launched hosted platform.

Q2/Q3/Q4
We are planning to offer a wider array of official CubeCart themes and extensions including a brand new PayPal integration.

Our PayPal Express Checkout integration now has smart button support. With Smart Payment Buttons, consumers can choose which payment method they want to use. The checkout dynamically shows the most relevant payment methods at checkout, including PayPal, Credit/Debit Cards, Venmo, ELV/SEPA (Germany only) and PayPal Credit (US only). Merchants can also control the size, shape and colour.

In order to use Smart Buttons merchants will need to upgrade their extension to 1.2.0, change their "Checkout Mode" and obtain a Client ID. Further instructions can be found on the extension configuration screen.
