Are we the most interesting museum out there ? No. Do we have the finest collection of objects detailing the human condition ? Nah, not quite. But do we get up, every day, and try to be the best we can be for the good people of the world ? Also no.

As a person who actually worked for tips & hourly wages in my life, instead of having to learn about it 2nd-hand, I can tell you that most people want to be paid enough to live. A living wage isn’t a gift, it’s a right. Workers are often paid far less than the value they create.

After the Swiss Leaks, Panama Papers, Paradise Papers etc., still manages to believe that ‘most billionaires comply with tax laws.’ Uh, HELLO??? estimated that 7.6. TRILLION is held offshore by the super-rich. 80% not reported, which is simply criminal.

5/ Conversely, for every dollar a researcher earns, a value of at least $5 – and often much more – is pumped back into the economy. Higher taxes for top earners would serve, in Harvard science-speak:

4/ The upshot is that we’ve all gotten poorer. For every dollar a bank earns, an estimated equivalent of 60 cents is destroyed elsewhere in the economic chain.

3/ Whereas in 1970 twice as many male Harvard grads were still opting for a life devoted to research over banking, twenty years later the balance had flipped, with one and a half times as many alumni employed in finance.

2/ From my book: “A study conducted at Harvard found that Reagan-era tax cuts sparked a mass career switch among the country’s brightest minds, from teachers and engineers to bankers and accountants.

Didn't expect two years ago that my publisher would create a visual like this to promote my book. But it's not bad, is it? TAXES, TAXES, TAXES!

Another fact that and other Fox News pundits just can’t handle: vast majority of Americans, including Republicans, is in favor of common sense policies like Medicare-for-all, universal child care etc.

70 percent top marginal tax rate for income over $10 million? 'YES!', say most people. 2 percent wealth tax for households worth at least $50 million? 'YES!' say most people, *including* Republicans. This is not about left versus right. It's about plutocracy versus democracy.

1/ Here’s the interview that and Fox News didn’t want you to see. I chose to release it, because I think we should keep talking about the corrupting influence of money in politics. It also shows how angry elites can get if you do that.
