Flood Warning for the Diamantina River

Flood Warning Number: 17
Major flooding is falling on the Diamantina River at Diamantina Lakes and
rising downstream at Monkira during Wednesday morning.
No significant rainfall is expected across the catchment area for at least the
next few days.
Diamantina River to Diamantina Lakes:
Minor flood levels are easing on the Diamantina River at Elderslie during
Wednesday morning.
Diamantina River downstream of Diamantina Lakes:
Major flood levels continue on the Diamantina River between Diamantina Lakes
and Monkira during Wednesday morning. Significant river level rises are
expected at downstream locations during the next week as floodwaters arrive.

immediately.
