A monsoon trough will continue to bring showers, areas of heavy rain and storms to the tropics, some intense. Troughs in the east and west could bring showers and possible storms for NSW, VIC and TAS. High pressure is keeping most of southern WA and SA clear and dry.

A tropical low the north will bring showers, thunderstorms and flooding rain to northern Queensland and eastern Top End. A trough extending from the NT to the southeast should bring showers and storms. Onshore winds will direct a few showers over TAS.

A low in the north associated with the monsoon trough will bring heavy rainfall and thunderstorms to northern Qld and the NT. Troughs over WA, the interior and southeast should produce showers and thunderstorms. Onshore winds should bring showers to the east coast.

The monsoon trough and an embedded low should generate areas of heavy rain over the tropics. A pair of troughs in the east and west will draw heat south, whilst causing showers and storms. Onshore winds should bring showers to the east coast.

Thursday 22:00 EDT

A monsoon trough and low should bring heavy rainfall and storms to the Top End and northern QLD. Troughs over the east and west will generate showers and the odd storm for inland NSW, VIC, TAS and WA. Onshore winds in the southwest will bring showers to southern WA.

Friday 22:00 EDT

A trough and cold front crossing the southeast should bring gusty showers and thunderstorms to TAS, VIC and NSW. A low pressure system and its associated trough should bring showers and thunderstorms to northern NT and Qld. A trough in the west will bring thunderstorms to WA.
