Leipzig – Attack on the Federal Court on New Years Eve (Germany)

January 28th, 2019

During new years eve in Leipzig, eastern Germany, the night of excess was used to initiate an attack on a target that, up until then, deemed itself as heavily protected and untouchable. Every year for the first half hour of the new year, the
big cities in are covered in thick layers of fog and smog, never ending noises of explosions and masses of people who take over the sidewalks and community spaces to get a good look at the fireworks. The attackers goal was the federal court and the state prosecution. This institution figuratively and literally represents the central organ of the judiciary, this state and its democratic society.

200 meters away from the federal court, a burning barricade blocked the crossroad, so that the group could carry out the attack on the federal court and the neighbouring fraternity Corps Lusatia without any disturbances. Stones broke
through the windows of the fraternity house and paint balls were thrown at the facade. The mobile cameras of the court house were sprayed followed by people jumping the fence and trying to break through the security glass. Fire was set to the front door and the window frame, sadly the insides of the building were left undamaged. In front of the court, another barricade was set ablaze, cars were smashed and burned. The whole street was covered in smoke, released from the
cartridges of the attackers.

A choreography, which led saxonies attorney general to believe in a high level of professionalism behind the attack. He was very quick to announce a new level of left radical violence. Not only did the delinquents attack the state, but the whole society. Nothing that actually hasn‘t been heard before.

Around the new year, several attacks against state property were carried out. For example the arson attack against the district court in Berlin-Wedding and the district court and the district attorneys office in Hamburg in the last week of December 2018. In the first weeks of January there were attacks on the Court Building in the south of Germany, Stuttgart and some days later in Freiburg and against the Court in Göttingen, as an attack against deportations and the racist law regime.

Let‘s continue to target these institutions.
As long as we walk these streets we will try to burn down every court, that people get dragged in front of every day!

Yellow Vest counter demo: Dublin, Ireland

January 28th, 2019

The Yellow Vests call for unity, but how can there be unity?

On Saturday, January 12th the Yellow Vests had another of their weekly marches in Dublin. Anti fascist and anti racist showed up to the march for the second week in a row.

As soon as the banner and anti fascist flag was took out yellow vesters came out of the crowd looking angry. We received a torrent of abuse and shouts of, “house our own”, “we need more racists”, “Fuck refugees”, “refugees not welcome”, “you’se are paid by George Soros”, and “Ireland for white people”. They gave a very poor attempt to take our banner and flag but couldn’t manage to succeed. We were shouted at to leave, “fuck off”. Not one out of the crowd of about 60 to 70 yellow vests supported the banner for refugees or said anything about the racists shite being spouted. We stayed and followed them in their march and we left before they attempted their joke of a direct action where they attempted to block a road for an hour, the cops moved them on before the yellow vest protest reached their hour long goal to block traffic.

The Yellow vests in Ireland are not a “leaderless movement” Read the rest of this entry »

Read the rest of this entry »

Santiago, Chile: Contribution of La Rebelión de las Palabras to the meeting in combative memory of Sebastian Oversluij

January 9th, 2019

Contribution from La Rebelión de las Palabras for the meeting taking place in Santiago, Chile on 23rd December in combative memory of nihilist-anarchist comrade Sebastian Oversluij, “Angry”. The meeting was also within the context of Black December and internationalist anarchist praxis. 5th year since Sebastian’s death during a bank expropriation.

From the Spanish State, we greet first of all the compas that raised the commemorative activity for Angry, to a new anniversary of his death in action when he was trying to expropriate one of the temples of Capital. The noise of the blast that killed him awoke new feelings of rabid sadness that roamed the globe, unleashing actions of revenge, activities in his memory, and that inspired more individuals and groups that from the offensive or not, returned to take a breath to continue on this difficult path. We did not know Angry, nor did we know the political and social context of the Chilean territory where he developed, lived and fought. However, the courage, the determination and the coherent commitment that he showed with his last action reverberate in us, and we also feel affinity with his words, his music with the rap band Palabras En Conflicto, which we know and like, and with his drawings and gestures, contributions that mark his offensive trajectory, feeling honored to be able to participate in this activity contributing the present writing.

We have been asked to write something about the context of anarchism in the territories dominated by the Spanish State. However, to be honest, we do not feel legitimacy for such a task, since we do not know in depth the concrete context of many places of the state, and others we know them in a partial, ephemeral way or in any case, from an approach that starts from our assessment, our subjectivity and our own processes, affinities, preferences, with what we have decided to make a general assessment that, we repeat, part of our own personal valuations, without having to be taken as an absolute reason or that we intend to speak for others companions who, perhaps, have another point of view and something to say about it. Berlin, Germany: Incendiary sabotage of a prison profiteer

January 9th, 2019

Columns of smoke escaping from the roofs of the rich district of Elbchaussee, helicopters turning in the sky. By far, that was what let some early-bird residents guess that something was going on, perhaps beyond the statements of the riot police and secret services. A crowd of hooded people pursued their goal of publicizing their vision of things, destroying both in a targeted and blind manner a tiny part of this world of prosperity.

A wonderful sign. A street of cars in flames, souls completely helpless absolutely not wanting to understand why they had just been the victim of this useless violence. We have a great mark of respect for the risk that people had been ready to take.

After all, it already seemed to appear on the radar of all the intelligence services, before the summit, that the limits of the city were going to be surpassed. A moment of offensive demonstration, whose character has only rarely been achieved in this country.

Since 18 December, five comrades from Frankfurt, Offenbach and from France have been going before the higher regional court of Hamburg. They are accused of having been part of this ride. The relevant items are films and video material that the cops have analysed in detail . They claim to be able to identify people in a cohort of hooded individuals dressed all in black. PDF: Issue #3 of Trespass Journal

January 8th, 2019

We’re glad to finally present Issue 3 of Trespass Journal!

https://www.trespass.network/?page_id=1472&lang=en

In this issue, which is online and freely distributed, you’ll find a translation from English to Dutch of a journal article about how a moral panic was generated to enforce the criminalisation of squatting in the Netherlands and a translation to French of a brief text about migration on Idomeni in Greece, near to Macedonia, which was previously published in Trespass 2 in Italian.

As interventions in five languages, we have an analysis of the lack of support to the ZAD in Brittany, plus short pieces about the opening of a new anarchist social centre in the Paris suburbs, community resistance to preserve a park in London, the demolition of a community gym in Athens, an (unsuccessful) eviction threat in Catania, and an eviction in Catalonia. And a report on the resquat of the watertower in Utrecht! There’s plenty more news and analysis on this website.

The language diversity contained in this issue mirrors the commitment we have been putting in towards overcoming the dominance of the English language and creating a journal that goes beyond borders. We’ve also been updating the blog in different languages. HOWEVER as you will no doubt have noticed, this introduction is only in English and we are sorry for that. We can only do so much, and this issue was already very overdue … to translate it into Catalan, Spanish, Dutch and French is too much work. Read the rest of this entry »
