Sensationalism is completely unethical. How embarrassing. Journalists need to do better. We trusted you.

This rebuke by Mueller of the BuzzFeed story is putting my feet to sleep. We do not know how this will play out. Regardless, it probably doesn't matter in the big picture unless the story turns out to be true.

There’s no way to spin this. It’s a huge catastrophe. I’m a realist and I’m not going to delude myself. Buzzfeed messed up on epic proportions. And our democracy really took a hit today. Accurate reporting matters.
-
It matters, but it's not necessarily as bad as you're making it out to be. It is hardly epic.
-
If it was true it would be epic so why does the standard not work both ways?

There you go again with that thing called logic

Lol not accurate isn’t the same as not true
-
It's exactly the same actually
-
No it’s not the same. If someone reported I got home from Miami yesterday when I got home from Miami today, the report was inaccurate. I still got home from Miami.

Mueller isn't Trump's lawyer. There's no reason for him to use semantics. The fact he released a statement at all is VERY STRONG evidence that the whole thing is BS.

#FakeNews didn’t even make it a full day. Think of all the hysteria on today’s news over something that would ultimately be proven false by night fall. Trump Derangement Syndrome is real. -

Additionally, when are reporters going to realize that every inaccurate story fuels the fake news narrative and empowers the president
-
America does not trust the media. That can never be repaired.
