EngageMedia strengthens the capacity of film-makers and technologists to support human rights, the environment and social justice. We mix media producers together with campaigners & social movements to build their social impact.
Over the past 13 years we have supported migrant workers in Malaysia, video activists in Myanmar, digital rights campaigners in the Philippines, indigenous storytellers in West Papua, and helped build a global network of Video for Change leaders.
We enable people to tell their own story - Papuan Voices, an initiative EngageMedia began more than seven years ago, is now an independent non-profit, led independently by Papuan based film-makers and activists.
