They’re asking for $24 million per mile???

Sounds kind of expensive when you put it that way. (And for those not reading the images, this covers only 234 miles of it.)
-
Which means the plan to POCKET/ PROFIT from the rest of the money not spent!!! Follow the money

I don’t see where or how Mexico is paying in this document.

You know, Sarah Huckabee Sanders said it was coming via the new tariffs

Yeah, a total of $7B to prevent &/or incarcerate people who want to come here and work/live (not terrorize). Why don't they just let people come in, let them work/live & create tax revenue as they contribute to society? Pretty sure more economical and Christian at the same time.
-
Not to mention, asking for A LOT of money to make up jobs, yet they apparently can't pay for the jobs of federal employees (i.e. hostages) already in place. How the hell are they going to budget this again in 2020? Or are these "temp" positions?

$4.2 billion for 52,000 beds is $81,000 a year per bed. Some scam person is making a bunch of money.

“Mom, wait, wait, calm down... what if I don’t ask for beer money? What if we just call it ‘gas money’ and you give me $20 and we all move on?”

Great analogy.

There is a crisis at the border NOW - and it was caused by Trump’s own policies!

Also, everyone seems to forget orig estimates were $25-35B. $5.7 is just a downpayment.

where does the 234 miles number come from? the border is ~1,950 miles. are they saying that the measures already in place in some areas are adequate? (even assuming a wall isn't geographically possible in some places, it seems like a partial walkback but it's clear as mud)
-
I believe some parts are considered adequate, but this is only to get the project going. It's going to cost a lot more than $5,700,000,000.
