It is a matter of immense privilege and great honour for me to get this opportunity to serve the people of the state and the nation and the great organisation of Assam Police.
While a lot of good work has been done in the past few decades, we cannot afford to rest on our laurels. This is a continuing journey and we have to keep responding to the emerging challenges and possibilities relating to militancy, crime management and people centric policing. In this endeavour, we must be responsive and prompt in our service delivery. We have to continuously upgrade the quality of our service to meet the expectations of the citizens through capacity building, infusing new technology and allowing for innovative ideas into the system. We would actively seek the cooperation of the people so that we can harness this synergy and work effectively to achieve our goals. For this we need team-work and close cooperation and coalition with all stakeholders so that we can meet the expectations of the people.
Let us pledge ourselves to our mission once again.
