    Health and safety can be used as a reason by some homes to cover for the fact they don't want to do it or can't be bothered as it takes up staff time. V strange approach to care, people are not automatons

    An ideal care home should be sufficiently transparent about its finances, so that there are no surprise closures or sales which are disruptive to residents or their families. Or problems with operations affecting quality of care that are not promptly addressed.

    thanks for sharing your experience Louise. Interested to know more about the repercussions after your mum had died. We use this info to help inform our resources and help educate others.

    All areas for support struck a chord. So important to care for the carers. Thought I was fairly robust individual till Mum got dementia. How wrong I was. Repercussions still going 18 months since she died 💔
