Hi there. My application @SocialJukebox has users experiencing 185 over limit errors. Our application will not allow a user to exceed the limits outlined. Please advise as to the problem. Thanks.

Hello
@tim_fargo - We implemented new app-level rate limits today for certain POST endpoints. I believe you should have some comms in your email inbox related to this change. You can read more about the new rate limits via this forum announcement:https://twittercommunity.com/t/new-post-endpoint-rate-limit-enforcement-begins-today/115355 … -
Thanks for the heads up. Are the limits for the entire application user base?
-
This change implements net-new rate limits for a handful of POST endpoints that will be applied at the Twitter app-level, meaning that -- in addition to the user rate limits -- your Twitter app will only be able to make a limited number of requests to those endpoints.
-
If you need to apply for elevations, we have instructions via that forum announcement that I shared earlier in this thread.

Hi again. Just did. Any idea on the processing time? (Since I'll be asked as well)

Hi. We are affected by today's API rate limit change. We are already Twitter Developer and also submitted the application in past for "elevated POST limits". We even not see this options on https://help.twitter.com/forms/platform . Can you please help us to get a higher API rate limit?

Hi sorry for bugging you but it's almost more than 24 hours and no feedback yet. It's very frustrating when such thing happens on production environment for any product company. Almost 6000+ posts are failed from 3500+ customer. Please help

Hi, have you got any response?

@VOSTPT@VOSTeurope Sharing information that might impact the disaster response work we do on Twitter during activations. -
As it seems it will only affect applications and we're sure
@Twitter will open exceptions for accounts such as ours.

Only
@BetterTDeck will survive. -
Tweeten, ModernDeck and BetterTweetDeck are all just extensions for TweetDeck and as since TweetDeck is not, afaik, affected by these changes, they won't be either.
-
My bad... Thanks for the correction
