Details: Swedish D-beat! The A-side was recorded in 2008 at Said Studio, and the B-side in 2009 at Sceleris by Matte P. which also is an obvious choice of studio. Musically we’re talking raging swedish räpunk in the same vein as Totalitär, with finnish vocals. There’s a slight difference in sound between the two sides obviously, but I can’t really say that one is better than the other. They’re both great in their own way with the basic raw sound of the A-side, and the B-side bringing forth some extra sharpness. A truly brilliant record that holds all the energy, dirt, anger, sincerity… really everything I’m looking for in a record like this. This is a true testimonial that you don’t need a huge thundering sound to make a powerful record – it’s all in the material. Music aside, is it even possible to dislike a band that has a “pick your king” t-shirt design with Jallos face on it?

UNKIND - YHTEISKUNNAN PIKKUVIKOJA LP

Details: An amazing and totally bleak and definitely their best record so far from this finnish band, combining a more muted and moody take on DISFEAR-style rocked out guitar riffs, savagely shouted vocals ala VICTIMS, and then the dark and epic scope of NEUROSIS (and their slower, low end lumbering) , TRAGEDY (mood carrying guitar riffs and solos) ARTIMUS PYLE (bursting from all of that into wicked thrash) and their ilk. The Recording is crazy serious and megalithic, allowing the weight of the riffs to be literally oppressive and powerful then just clearing enough space for the band to blast fast thrashier parts. top knotch musician ship, the mood of the whole affair somber as it can get, and while this metallic influenced crust style is seems at times almost completely currently dismissed stateside / locally, if you like any of the five bands I just mentioned, buy this immediately. Details: These bunch rules!! They are rockin’!! Opening tracks with instrumental variation, when hardcore punk band adding a blues harp in their song. Bit chaotic sometimes, feel like the music are all over the place. But I’m trying to understand their music, this is new to me. Since i’m a big fans of Japanese crust/noise that i’m put everything else on top of my list, i’m ignore other kind of weird punk music. These band prove that they are really put 200% effort to release this album. They are original, creative and artistic. Because of the guitar sounds too high I can’t really hear the other equipment they use in this album. In these recording the extra special equipment the use are key, didgeridoo, djembe and Japanese harp (I will google this equipment later on) Overall the CD are great if you looking for something new. WITCHFINDER GENERAL - Friends From Hell LP

Details: Witchfinder General are a doom metal band from Stourbridge, England. They were part of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal scene and have been cited as a major influence on the doom metal genre. Death Penalty is the debut album by NWOBHM band WitchfinderGeneral. It was released in 1982 on Heavy Metal Records. The album received some criticism for the cover photograph, which featured topless model Joanne Latham. The photograph had been taken in the yard of St Mary the Blessed Virgin Church in Enville, Staffordshire, without the permission of the local Reverend. The album was originally released on LP and picture disc and was later reissued on CD. Pictured on the cover is Phil Cope, Zeeb Parkes, Graham Ditchfield and a member of the then Road Crew. While Peter Hinton is credited with producing this recording the writers Phil Cope and Zeeb Parkes always felt the credit should have gone to the engineer Robin George.

But if you told me this band was from Japan I'd probably fall for it, because the vocals really have a crazy indecipherable ring to them. This fucker is chock full of great distorted sound on both the guitar and the bass, with natural sounding drums and a solid mix that keeps everything dense and even. Details: From the opening acoustic intro to the last dark, thrashed out note this is one seriously intense album. The obvious comparisons His Hero Is Gone and From Ashes Rise are there for sure but to me this has a bit more of a straight up hardcore feel to it. That said though, this has some excellent heavy pounding drum beats happening and some changes in pace, pitch and mood that are so tight and sudden they scream for your attention. The harsh throaty vocals belt out lyrix that are written as single block paragraphs dealing with overtly sociopolitical issues all looked at from a less than positive point of view. This record is very heavy, very angry and although you will probably like it, it will not make you happy!
