A 48-year-old Mandurah man has appeared in court accused of trying to rob a Rockingham bank with a gun and escaping from a Warnbro pharmacy with cash after a hold-up.
Terry Paul Dixon did not entered a plea to one count of armed robbery and one count of attempted armed robbery when he appeared in Rockingham Magistrates Court on Thursday.
WA Police’s Regional Investigations Unit allege that about 5.15pm on Friday, November 9, the man entered a pharmacy along Halliburton Avenue in Warnbro and threatened staff with a firearm, before leaving the area with a sum of cash.
Police say the second incident happened on Friday, November 16 about 2.40pm.
It will be alleged the man entered a bank along Kent Street in Rockingham and threatened staff with a firearm - but left the area empty-handed.
Mr Dixon is due to reappear in court on December 5.
