This week has seen another round of doxing and hostile posturing in anarchist circles. I have to wonder "how do you think this is going to play out" when I see the "real world consequence" behavior of anarchists who wail about their own need for anonymity while taking other people through a parade of public hostility. When you push a stranger to the edge they will turn to violence, either interpersonal or meta-personal (the State).

As feminists, it is important for us to draw attention to the fact that police officers often use their undue authority to coerce and rape women on the job. And that police officers go home and extend their undue authority to their households where nearly 40% of them abuse their domestic partners with impunity.

Every assault, rape, or murder of a person by the police is an attack against us all.

The PDF for pamphlet printing may be found here and for onscreen reading here. The text dates from 5 years ago and represents one pass at a subject that could sustain ten or a hundred passes. Nonetheless, this hopefully sets the stage for writings to come.

Riot police attacks protesters for no reason

Athens: On 17 November 2018, following the annual protest in commemoration of the student revolt against the military dictatorship in Athens, Greece, (1973), and despite the fact that this year’s protest was ending in an absolutely peaceful manner, scores of riot policemen encircled the black block just before it was going to disperse and for no apparent reason, no provocation, no excuse, no justification, they suddenly launched a massive attack and charged against the crowd with batons while firing asphyxiating gas grenades and flash-bang grenades, creating chaos in a residential area of central Athens, just outside Ambelokipoi metro station.

From Black Rose/Rosa Negra

We republish this statement signed by anarchist and social movement organizations around the world denouncing the current wave of repression aimed at left, anarchist and social movement organizations in Argentina. In the lead up to hosting a meeting of the G20 summit in Buenos Aires on November 30, two bombing incidents conducted by unknown groups have become a pretext for wide ranging police repression including police raids on social centers and the homes of movement activists. As social movements prepare to protest the summit and it’s neoliberal agenda, the security forces have worked to create an atmosphere of fear, urging Buenos Aires 3 million residents to leave the city during the summit and announcing plans to deploy 20,000 officers.
