Punk Rock Holiday announce 2019 festival lineup

Tomlin, Slovenia punk festival Punk Rock Holiday announced their 2019 lineup. Nofx and Descendents will be headlining the event. Ignite, Less Than Jake, Good Riddance, Cigar, Pears, Much The Same, The Dopamines and much much more have been announced to play the three day festival. Antarctigo Vespucci is a band born of the bond between Chris Farren and Jeff Rosenstock. Forged in the midst of both artists' burgeoning solo careers, and following the respective ends of both Fake Problens and Bomb the Music Industry, Antarctigo Vespucci recently returned with their sophomore LP Love in the Time of E-Mail (their first for Polyvinyl). While on the road supporting the album, the band met up with writer Graham Isador in Toronto. This is their conversation.

Dean Ween to open weed-friendly venue

Dean Ween of Ween has announced plans to open a new venue in in Denver, as the Denver post reports. The venue will be called Dean Ween’s Honeypot Lounge and it will allow people to openly smoke marijuana cigarettes. Deaner will also serve as the venue's musical director and curator. Chief operating officer Michael Polansky revealed the plans to the city board on Monday and plans to open the venue on 4/20/2019. The venture hasn't selected a specific building yet and have not applied for licenses, but they plan on doing that soon.
