A ‘super-Earth’ may have been discovered just six light years away

Science Yesterday
Astronomers have spotted signs of an exoplanet orbiting Barnard’s Star, one of the closest stars to the Sun. The “super-Earth” would be at least 3 times the size of Earth, has a surface temperature of -170°C (-274°F) and a year that lasts just 233 days.

Just six light-years away, a frozen world seems to be orbiting a small, dim red star s
