Writer with Maclean's. Yes: old art, excellent beer, great writing, goalies hurrying. No: raisins, public stunt marriage proposals, camping.

I can only assume that anyone who thought that fantastic video of the lynx fight was fake does not own more than one cat. Every night around 10 pm, my kitchen is that roadside octagon.

I...do not...feel like this is the least bad option. But I respect that you have decided that it is! :)

But why can’t you just wear shoes with your socks?! WHY?!?!

This is a valid point. And yet I would still rather see prehistoric taloned hooves than socks with sandals.

me, 1988: my dad calls everything by the wrong name. why doesn't he know what anything is me: 2018: calling my kid's mindcraft game "computer legos" is way funnier than saying mindcraft and it pisses her off every time

This is almost too obvious to be a thought, but is there, like, research on how your province is sinking into dissolution because of the depanneurs? And the children? Has anyone looked at how damaged the children are? Seems like this would be an easy thing to answer empirically.

New video from Maclean's on where Doug Ford's platform math just doesn't add up.

Ah, interesting! The Margaret plotline is very different from the political-historical stuff but I find it really compelling. Agreed the Altrincham ep is amazing. I just watched the JFK episode and wanted to punch Jackie, but it was still fascinating.

I loved S1 of The Crown. But S2 is exponentially better. The Armstrong-Jones storyline started out, shall we say, muy caliente, and they end up gradually revealing the tragic, hideous underbelly to viewers just as Margaret must have experienced it. So brilliantly uncomfortable.
