I'm trying to figure out what law they broke when stopping Acosta or his credentials. I mean the press is supposed to ask question (not pontificate) and the president answers. But when the "reporter" comes belligerent, ignores requests to move on and puts hands on people, ur gone

Clearly he made contact with her arm when she tried to take the mic away.

Ok. You keep convincing yourself of that.

And CNN can send a new reporter.

“When the speech condemns a free press, you are hearing the words of a tyrant.” - Thomas Jefferson President Trump & members of his administration consistently condemn our Free Press, aiming to stifle it w/ their arrogant, tyrranical tactics. Our Constitution will always win.

Did they ban all reporters or just Acosta?
-
Acosta was banned because of his bad behavior, not because of his questions. He has no respect for the office and no respect for the man. He answered the 1st question, Acosta doesn't get 20 in a press conference, if he wants 20 request an interview! Big difference!
-
If that’s how you feel, that’s fine. Regardless of your opinion of how
@Acosta conducted himself, there is still a process that must be adhered to. Trump is not following that process, and he certainly crossed the line trying to justify it with a doctored video of the incident. -
So if a reporter is being obnoxious to the president, his staff, disrespectful to other members of the press, he should still get to stay, the other reporters follow the rules and he gets to break them? What is the process by the way?
@Acosta should have kept his hands to himselfpic.twitter.com/5YpHliMuHZ -
They should remove him from the event, and then follow the process. But it obviously wasn’t too terrible because he wasn’t told to leave.
-
They removed his White House press credentials the same day, did they not? That’s the nice way of removing someone without making them look like a bigger jerk than they already made themselves look.
-
No, because if he had really put his hands on a woman or acted too inappropriately, he could have said “get out” (not “sit down”) like he does at all of his rallies but they wanted to make it look worse by doctoring the video and THEN take his hardpass away, w/o following process

It’s was a stupid reason to ban him. He’s just doing his job
-
Putting his hands on a female intern when not returning the mic is NOT his job. It's actually the opposite of his job.
-
She’s not an intern and she tried to stop his right to free speech and ask questions. She also touched him first and he even said “Excuse me ma’am” when he accidentally touched her in reflex
-
She is an intern and she was doing HER job. Acosta doesn't run the press briefings. He got his grandstanding in and then when he's told to give up the mic, he didn't. He should have been removed for that alone or any of the numerous other examples of his rude behavior.
-
When the president of the United States refuses to answer questions merely because he’s biased, THAT is when transparency ceased to exist.
-
Trump answered Acosta's question and the questions from 60 some other reporters. He's the most transparent POTUS we've seen, probably ever due to technology. He literally gives the world his thoughts on twitter every single day. Obama arrested and jailed reporters.
-
And Trump is suppressing questions he doesn’t like. He has called questions stupid and attacked journalists nonstop. He’s a disgraceful president
