Those whom the gods would destroy, they first make mad

The aftermath of the Reclaim Australia (RA)/United Patriots Front (UPF) rallies of July 18/19 has produced some interesting results.

• To begin with, the President of the UPF, Shermon Burgess (AKA ‘The Great Aussie Patriot’), has declared that the boys will be rallying again in Cronulla in a few months. How NSW authorities and especially Cronulla locals react to this news will be fascinating to watch. Burgess himself has previously boasted of his attendance at the ‘riot’/’White Civil Uprising’ in Cronulla. See also : Cronulla Anniversary: A Kiwi Perspective (December 27, 2006) | Communists on Cronulla (December 3, 2006).

• Somewhat remarkably, a few days after July 18, Burgess published a video confessing to having engaged in a group assault upon a group of ‘anti-fascists’ in Melbourne. An edited version of the video is below:

Given the intense media scrutiny surrounding the weekend’s events — and the considerable criticism to which police have been subject — it seems possible that police may be compelled to take a closer look at the alleged incident Burgess refers to in the video: time will tell.

• It’s also remarkable that Burgess has chosen to promote a song perfomed by defunct Belgian reich ‘n’ rollers Kill Baby Kill. KBK were a neo-Nazi band that split following the suicide of its lead singer, Dieter Samoy. His decision to kill himself apparently occurred after he learned that he would be forced to abandon his teaching career after being convicted of a racist assault. The band toured Australia several years ago in a tour organised by local neo-Nazi groups Blood & Honour and the (Southern Cross) Hammerskins. The Hammerskins gained some small notoriety in 2012 after one of its members, Wade Michael Page, shot dead worshippers at a Sikh temple in Wisconsin. • A few articles of interest:

Inside the strange dynamic of Reclaim Australia’s rallies, Martin McKenzie-Murray, The Saturday Paper, July 25, 2015.

Trainspotters note: “At the top was a thick picket line of counter-protesters – largely a mix of anarchists and Socialist Alliance members, but not restricted to them.” A majority of socialists present were members/supporters of Socialist Alternative and the Socialist Party (though members of the Alliance were undoubtedly present).

Reclaim Australia: ‘concerned mums and dads’ or a Trojan horse for extremists?, Joshua Robertson, The Guardian, July 24, 2015.

Comment: Robertson’s article includes extensive quotes from John Oliver, described as an ‘RA spokesman’. Unmentioned is his role as the sometime President of the ‘Patriots Defence League of Australia’, a handful of whose members were present on July 18 in Melbourne. Several months ago, Oliver established a GoFundMe campaign in an attempt to obtain my d0x:

(Note that ‘Australians Against Islam’ is described as a splinter group from RA in Brisbane, est following the July 19 rally.) ‘Concerned dad’ John — whose staunch opposition to racism, fascism, neo-Nazism and to the intimate involvement of his patriotik comrades in neo-Nazi and fascist politics can surely never be questioned — also expressed the view that I should be hunted down like a dog, have my testicles removed and then attached to my forehead:

Top bloke, John.

As for the PDLA, its ‘Eastern Victoria Charter’ was present on July 18, or at least its President, Damien Kourevellis, and its Vice-President, Some Other Bloke, were. (On Kourevellis, see also : Court told violent man not detained, Steve Butcher, The Age, March 26, 2009.) Reclaim Australia re-energises radical nationalism, Troy Whitford, The Conversation, July 24, 2015.

Trainspotters note: “Reclaim Australia’s position is probably best articulated through the propaganda arm, The Nationalist Alternative, which was established last year. It argues that the agenda of Australian nationalism is to promote Australia as ‘… an organic nation founded upon Western/European ideals, and created by it’s [sic] descendants primarily the Anglo-Saxon-Celtic ethnicity as well as fellow Europeans from northern, central, southern and eastern Europe.'”

While RA’s position may arguably be best expressed by or thru Nationalist Alternative (NAlt), it is not RA’s propaganda arm, nor was it established in 2014. Rather, NAlt was founded in 2008/9 in anti-mosque agitation in Williamstown. Further, from the time of the emergence of both RA and Burgess adopting ‘The Great Aussie Patriot’ persona, the principal propaganda arm for RA has been ‘Nationalist Republican Guard’ AKA ‘European Australian Civil Rights League’ AKA Melbourne-based neo-Nazi (and criminal anti-Semite) Neil Erikson. Erikson left the group last year, but not before he and some of his comrades outed Mark Hootsen as NAlt’s leader. Dieter Samoy : Still Dead Baby, Dead

Oh hai.

January 15, 2012 is the second anniversary of the death of Dieter Samoy. Samoy, a Belgian neo-Nazi skinhead, committed suicide several days after being sentenced to two years in jail for taking part in a violent, racially-motivated assault upon Togolese immigrant Raphaël Mensah in May 2006. Mensah was rendered unconscious in the assault, hospitalised, and spent one month in a coma. He died a year later (of apparently unrelated causes).

At the invitation of local boneheads, in 2008 Dieter’s band, Kill Baby Kill, toured Australia, playing the annual Ian Stuart Donaldson memorial gig (at a pub in Beaconsfield in outer Melbourne) along with local neo-Nazi bands Blood Red Eagle and Ravenous. While Blood Red Eagle has since departed the fold of Blood & Honour sponsored bands in Australia, Ravenous carries on and may even be performing at the Happy Birthday Mister Hitler/Hammered Festival in Brisbane in April.

While on tour a soon-to-be-dead Dieter and his band joined local artistes to record a charming little song named ‘Oh no here comes an Abo’. Sadly, the video of the recording session has been withdrawn from YouTube; happily, you can obtain a copy of the song through local neo-Nazi distro 9% Productions, either online or, indeed, at the gig. Further, those interested in songs in a similar vein need look no further than ‘More Dead Niggers’, which is available on the Deaths Head albums Hang the Traitors and Metal Skin… and may even be played live in April, who knows?

Of course, Dieter Samoy is not expected to be joining them. But if he did…

Dieter Samoy : Dead Baby Dead

That the guitarist and vocalist for neo-Nazi ‘skinhead’ band Kill Baby Kill (KBK), Dieter Samoy, is dead is not exactly news: he hanged himself last week. But it is news for some in Belgium:

KBK toured Australia in late 2008, and recorded songs with local (Melbourne) bonehead Jesse [email protected]#$%^&* including the smash hit ‘Oh no here comes an Abo’. Sadly, the song has been temporarily removed from the roster of tens of thousands of neo-Nazi toons on YouTube, but Jesse himself has a channel, genocidal88, which has many other fine examples of his work.

The tour was organised by local neo-Nazis belonging to Blood & Honour and the Hammerskins. Justin O’Brien — the Victorian state representative for B&H — was a big help, as was Jesse [email protected]#$%^&* (a Hammerskin). Jesse will be prancing about on stage on the Gold Coast with other neo-Nazis on April 17, 2010, in a tour being touted as being bigger than Ben Hur. When he’s not trying to find me and kill kiss me, Justin may be found @ Hold Fast Body Art in Burwood.

„Kill Baby Kill“ Bassist Does It Like the Führer and Commits Suicide!
Fire and Flames
19. Januar 2010

Those of you from Göttingen or surrounding areas might remember the name from the planned, but stopped, concert at the „Moonlight“ strip club in the city a couple of years ago. All the whining and complaining about not being racists, not having anything to do with fascists, and being poor victims of the big bad antifa PC police, well…turns out „Kill Baby Kill“ were not only racists, but cowards as well.

Dieter Samoy, aged 28, was convicted on January 12th of a racist aggression against a man of Togolese origin and his friend in the proximity of the infamous „Kastelein“ bar in Bruges. The man spent over a month in a coma, and finally died almost a year later due to a pulmonary infection.

Not one hour after learning of his conviction to two years in prison (yes, only two!) good old Dieter committed suicide. He will be missed by nobody except a bunch of cowardly racist drunks in a shitty bar in Belgium (and some people in Göttingen). And speaking of the cowards from the shitty bar in Belgium…its really impolite to keep people waiting for you for so long after you open your mouth so wide about „killing the reds.“ But dont worry…we can come back whenever you want! 🙂

Dieter Samoy goes to jail baby jail?

[Further update : judging by the amount and nature of the nattering on various neo-Nazi networks, it appears that Belgian bonehead Dieter Samoy really is dead. How and why is unknown. Given his sentencing last week, it appears possible that he killed himself in order to avoid undergoing two years imprisonment for a violent assault he committed in Bruges in 2006.

Samoy was 28.

Update : unconfirmed reports suggest that, at some point in the last few days, Samoy has committed suicide.]

In sad news for fans of Belgian reich ‘n’ roll band Kill Baby Kill, it’s been reported that its lead shouter and string-plucker Dieter Samoy has been sentenced to two years jail for his role in an assault upon Togolese immigrant Raphaël Mensah in May 2006. Mensah was rendered unconscious in the assault, hospitalised, and spent one month in a coma. He died a year later (of apparently unrelated causes).

On the bright side, you can listen to Kill Baby Kill on Myspace here, and their albums are available for sale through various neo-Nazi online distros, including Final Stand Records, Micetrap Distribution, NSM88 Records and of course Australia’s own 9percent.

Kill Baby Kill toured Australia in September 2008, playing a gig at the Beaconsfield Hotel, and recording a number of sing-a-longs with locals, one of which implores ‘Abos’ to fuck off and die.

Arf arf.

Note that Australian state and society is already doing a pretty good job of ensuring indigenous peoples die young, their life expectancy rating as among one of the lowest in the world: “In Australia, an indigenous child can expect to die 20 years earlier than his non-native compatriot. The life expectancy gap is also 20 years in Nepal, while in Guatemala it is 13 years and in New Zealand it is 11” (UN report paints grim picture of conditions of world’s indigenous peoples, January 14, 2010).

The tour by Kill baby Kill was organised by local neo-Nazi networks Blood & Honour (Australia) and the (Southern Cross) Hammerskins. The two are also organising an (aural) assault on the Gold Coast in April, featuring local reich ‘n’ rollers Ravenous and Open Season, as well as special guests from some-place-where-all-them-foreigners-live.

At a previous gig organised by the boys in Melbourne in 2006 (at The Birmingham Hotel in Fitzroy), a woman considered insufficiently white was confronted by several white racial/Australian patriots: ‘Blondien (not her real name) says she was walking alone to her car on Johnston Street the same night when she was surrounded by about seven men. She says the men screamed abuse at her, calling her a black c..t and forcing her to repeat the insults. “It’s disgusting that people would single out one person and you have to say stuff about your race to get out of it,” Blondien said’ (‘Victim of white supremacist abuse returns to join protest chorus’, Marika Dobbin, The Melbourne Times, October 18, 2006).

Disgusting? Maybe. But incidents such as this, hosting neo-Nazi gigs and groups for many years, and being a fan of Johnny Rebel, was not enough to prompt a number of local punk bands not to play the pub or to support its manager, Gary Wayne Kitto, following the call for a community boycott of his business. Nevertheless, and despite the Punky Brewster’s best efforts, the pub did eventually undergo a change in management. So when 2008 rolled around, Dieter had to goosestep on stage in Beaconsfield, not Fitzroy.

Anyway…

See : C.U.N.T., Hoelzer Reich, & Tomorrow Belongs to The Yes Men! (December 7, 2009) for background. A good summary of Zuffa’s (Zuffa LLC is the private, multi-million dollar Las Vegas-based company that owns UFC/’Ultimate Fighting Champuionship’) decision to authorise Hoelzer Reich is available @ Another Hoelzer Reich Post, Watch Kalib Run, December 8, 2009. Fortunately for Hoelzer Reich/Zuffa/UFC, the corporate media — with one exception — has ignored the controversy thus far. Note that “The UFC is holding a show in Memphis this weekend, which also happens to be the site of the National Civil Rights Museum. A story about the irony of the company having HR as a sponsor in that environment practically writes itself and plays into every negative stereotype about MMA.”

Oh, the ironing!

Notes

Niko Puhakka is a neo-Nazi MMA from Finland. He has 88 friends on myspace (arf arf), one of whom is Dieter Samoy, lead shouter for Belgian neo-Nazi oi! band ‘Kill Baby Kill’ (KBK). Puhakka’s current fave toon, ‘My Name Is Hate’, is by KBK, and is taken from their album Product of Society. The album was released in July 2009 by neo-Nazi label NADSAT Productions. When the band toured Australia in 2008, the tour was organised by the local B&H and Hammerskins franchises. In addition to prancing about on stage, the band also did a little recording while here, helping local Hammerskin Jesse belt out the smash pop hit ‘Oh No Here Comes An Abo’.

Not surprisingly, Puhakka is also a fan of West Wall.

Blood & Honour was established in 1987 by two (dead) boneheads from England: Ian Stuart (Donaldson) and Nicky Crane. Ian Stuart warbled toons for the band Skrewdriver. He died in a car accident in 1993. Nicky Crane’s main claim to fame was appearing on the cover of an album, Strength Through Oi!. He also died in 1993 (of an AIDS-related disease). B&H continues to operate throughout the world, including Australia and the United States. It is banned in Germany.

West Wall is the second band to have evolved from the ashes of the Minnesota-based Bound For Glory (BFG). Between the dissolution of BFG and the establishment of West Wall, the band was known as Before God. All three bands are featured on the now-defunct site musicalterrorists.com. BFG had its ups and downs during its brief existence, one of the worst downs occurring when the band’s lead shouter, Eric Banks, was shot dead on January 1, 1993. (His murder was apparently committed by anti-racist skinheads.) The guiding light in all three bands has been guitarist Ed Wolbank; Wolbank also performed with the neo-Nazi oi! band the Bully Boys.

The Hammerskins are a neo-Nazi skinhead gang established in the United States but one which, like B&H, has established franchises elsewhere in the world, including Australia (although it has recently been proscribed in Spain as a terrorist organisation).

The bizarro neo-Nazi political cult known as the Hammerskins was established in the late 1980s in Dallas, Texas, as the Confederate Hammerskins. The group’s name is derived from the film The Wall (1979), in which the fascist followers of Sir Bob Geldof’s character appear as crossed hammers: the crossed hammers have since been adopted as the group’s symbol. An overview of the group’s first, glorious decade is available in ‘Hammerskin Nation’ (Intelligence Report, Fall 1999); in October, the gang celebrated its 20th anniversary with a party in Florida. Among those performing was Melbourne band Death[‘]s Head.

Thor Steinar is a German clothing label established in 2002. Like Hoelzer Reich, it adapts neo-Nazi symbology in its designs, albeit much more subtly, given Germany’s laws against the propagation of Nazism. In 2004, a court decision impelled the company to change its logo; in 2008, it was sold, supposedly to a bloody Arab.
