We provide a platform for dynamic advocates to fuel social change, leading the way for a just, fair and decent society.
The Urban Justice Center serves New York City's most vulnerable residents through a combination of direct legal service, systemic advocacy, community education and political organizing. Over the last year, we closed 9,674 cases, benefiting over 14,500 people – and saving the government over $10 MILLION by preventing evictions and providing critical interventions in the social safety net.
