Earth Activist Training teaches permaculture, an ecological design system that includes powerful tools that can help us heal damaged land, rebuild communities, and create truly sustainable abundance. The communities that most need these tools are those who are on the front lines of environmental and social struggles. To share this knowledge, we need to train people who come from those communities. Earth Activist Training offers Diversity Scholarships to people of color who are working in environmental and food justice, as well as scholarships for differently-abled students. We also support and train activists of whatever race and background, those passionate people who lend their energies to create change, and so we offer work trade opportunities and scholarships to activists.
We need your support to offer our courses in permaculture design and social permaculture to people who will have a huge ripple effect. We have several courses coming up, and we hope to hit our goal in order to provide scholarships for these courses. None of us can do it all, but by donating, you become part of all the amazing projects our students are doing around the world.

City of Refuge picks up where The Fifth Sacred Thing left off- just a few weeks after Califia has successfully defeated the invading Stewards. As the Califians replant their garden streets and rebuild their beautiful city, they struggle to integrate the soldiers who have defected to the north. When a warship is discovered off the coast, the Califians realize that their peaceable society will never be truly safe until the Southlands are also free.
