Full Bars returns for episode two, Adriana. On top of being one of the funnest characters on the circuit Adriana is a PBS radio host with her programme 'Opalaki...a' a showcase of 'world dance music' and a regular fixture in Melbourne's nightlife. In #2 we follow Adriana through a radio broadcast and a Daydreams boat party.

Today we farewell a pillar of the Melbourne music community, Andy Portokallis, the man who helped save The Tote and shaped the live music scene for the past three decades. Andy was a champion of the Melbourne music scene – keeping beloved music venues such as Bar Open, Pony, Yah Yah’s and of course, The Tote, alive and thriving.

Our hearts and thoughts are with Andy's family and friends. RIP, Andy ❤️

PBS is solid gold in every which way. Such a smorgasbord of great music, served by Melbourne’s fines...t, most knowledgeable musicologists. Hard to single out favourites from such an all-star cast, but Stani Goma’s weekly foray into African music and culture never disappoints; Jesse I and Rick Howe dig up some serious Jamaican gems; and honorable mentions go to Lyndelle Wilkinson, Miss Goldie, Sista Zai and Milo.
