Correction – Amy Arman
On September 19, 2016, the Herald Sun accurately quoted Amy Arman saying she was unable to hold down a job and had applied for the dole. This was wrong. Amy was in fact employed at McDonald’s on a part-time basis, and did not apply for the dole.
Correction – Steven Arman
On September 19, 2016, in an article headed “The messy reality of our NEET generation”, the Herald Sun accused Steven Arman of raising his daughter to be a dole bludger, and suggested he was probably a bludger himself. This was wrong. The Herald Sun apologises to Mr. Arman for the hurt and embarrassment caused.

A report published on 10 November 2016 published certain statements concerning Lynette Rockman, which were inaccurate and untrue.
The Herald Sun unreservedly apologises to Ms Rockman for any hurt, distress or embarrassment caused to her or her children.
