Now that Michael Cohen has fully turned his back on President Trump, the former fixer is starting to share damaging details about his old boss.

The revelation Tuesday morning that President Trump has plans to end birthright citizenship by executive order is the culmination of the President’s weeks-long effort to inject nativism into the midterm elections as his party desperately tries to hold on to its congressional majorities.

The CEO of the U.S. Agency for Global Media (USAGM), which oversees U.S. government-run news outlets, announced on Monday that those responsible for a segment broadcast in Cuba describing Democratic donor George Soros as a “multimillionaire Jew” will be placed on leave while USAGM investigates how the segment made it on air.

Radio Televisión Martí, a network overseen by the U.S. government that broadcasts to Cuba, pulled a video segment it produced months ago that relied on material from the conservative group Judicial Watch and referred to Democratic donor George Soros as a “multimillionaire Jew,” Mother Jones reported last week.

Federal authorities on Friday afternoon made public a complaint charging Cesar Sayoc with five offenses stemming from the explosive devices mailed to several prominent Democrats, actor Robert DeNiro and CNN’s New York office.

As authorities continue to discover additional suspicious packages addressed to Democrats and Trump critics, more information about the actual contents of the parcels is trickling out. But much is still unclear about the potential explosive devices, leaving authorities puzzled about the bombmaker’s intentions.
