Both gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum and incumbent Sen. Bill Nelson have a slight 4 percent leads over their Republican counterparts, Ron DeSantis and outgoing Gov. Rick Scott, respectively, according to an NBC poll.

Just one day before midterms, both Gillum and Nelson lead DeSantis and Scott, respectively, 50 percent to 46 percent, within the poll’s margin of errors. Both Democrats are also seeing stronger favorability numbers than disapproval ratings, while the inverse is true for both Republicans.

A new Quinnipiac Poll also shows both of the Democrats in the widely followed races at an advantage against their Republican opponents. Both Gillum and Nelson are enjoying a 7-point lead in their respective races, according to Quinnipiac.
