Riyadh, Safar 11, 1440, Oct 20, 2018, SPA -- Administration of justice is the permanent approach of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which will not deviate from it, as that is its main prerequisite and fundamental, Minister of Justice and Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council Sheikh Dr. Walid bin Mohammed Al-Sama'ani said.
He stressed that the judicial institution, in the Kingdom, was founded on the principles of Islamic laws and values of justice, upon which this blessed country was built, bearing in mind the application of the provisions of the Shariah, which enjoins administration of justice and realization of the right and the establishment of the values of justice.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH Crown Prince are the principal supporters of the judicial institution, to stand in the face of anyone who wanted to harm the country or harm the rights of citizens, whomsoever he might be, he added.
He stressed that the judiciary, in the Kingdom, enjoys full independence to deal with the issue that has occurred on the land, that falls within the sovereignty of the Kingdom, pointing out that the issue will take its regular course, in the Kingdom, and will reach the judiciary, after the completion of the prosecution requirements.
Dr. Al-Sama'ani explained that the directives and decisions ordered by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, in the wake of the sad and tragic event that took the life of Jamal Khashoggi, are a continuation of the state's approach, pointing out that "We, as Saudi citizens, are proud and show pride of our guardians, who have spared no effort, in caring for the homeland and the citizens of this blessed country.
The Minister of Justice stated that the Kingdom is steadfast in its justice and will not be destabilized by any aggressive behavior, practiced by others via reckless means of media and lack of professionalism and credibility, concluding that accountability of any violator is not a sentence to be uttered, but an enacted truth and an applicable reality, as adopted by the Kingdom and as many testimonials stand as witnesses for that end.
