The World Readable network of sites now includes a directory of local farmers markets. The site launched with more than 1,100 markets across all 50 states of the U.S., complete with their addresses, phone numbers, hours of operation and a map to help people the site where the market’s being held. Around 3-5 new markets are being added every day.
Users can find their local market, get driving directions and print out a map. They also can post a review of each market and submit Wikipedia-style edits to keep the farmers market listings up to date.
If you know of a great market that’s not yet listed, use the add a market link. Your help is appreciated.
World Readable also offers a directory of wargame stores, videogame stores and sportscard stores.

World Readable has expanded our network of sites to include Videogame-Stores.Com, a directory of local videogame stores.
The site begins today with more than 4,200 store listings in the U.S. covering all 50 states. Users can find their local videogame store, get directions and print them out.
Each store listing can be edited by users to keep the listings up to date. There's also a place to submit store reviews.
In addition to national chains such as GameStop, we're hoping to compile the best listing of independent videogame stores on the web. The smaller and mom-and-pop stores often provide a much wider variety of videogames going all the way back to classic systems such as the Sega Genesis, Nintendo Entertainment System and the Nintendo 64.

World Readable has relaunched Watching the Watchers as an Utne Reader-style digest of interesting news and commentary. Content for the site is selected by editors from sites that permit redistribution, including the popular liberal community Daily Kos and web sites that use a Creative Commons license.

World Readable has launched a store locator and convention calendar at Wargames.Com, our hobby site for wargaming enthusiasts. These two features are the first of several new features we'll be rolling out in coming months as we transform the site from a computer wargame store into a popular destination for players of traditional and miniature wargames.
Rogers Cadenhead describes some of the design work involved in the creation of the site in Creating a CSS Menu Bar with Listamatic, an article on his weblog Workbench.
Wargames.Com's store directory currently contains 962 stores and 32 conventions. Users who visit the site can add stores and add conventions.
