Interview with a representative of the fan club Green Ghetto (FC Agrotikos Asteras)

At this time we are back to Thessaloniki. This city is known for many football fans three clubs - PAOK, Aris and Iraklis. But the soccer city life does not end. And we want to introduce you to one of the many small football clubs in Thessaloniki. We go to the western part of Thessaloniki, to introduce you to the club Agrotikos Asteras, which is based in the area of Evosmos. The club supports firm Green Ghetto, who kindly agreed to give us an interview.

Interview with a representative fan group Panthers (Panionios, Nea Smyrna)

  Again we return to Athens. Panionios is considered quite a serious team in the scale of Greece and has a very impressive fan base. However, with all of this club is very difficult to compete in popularity with three Athenian giants. Nevertheless Panionios trying to compete with them and has long established itself as the fourth team of the Greek capital. His Panthers fan movement is one of the top in the country and has repeatedly stated his anti-fascist positions.

 

- What's your name? How long you support Panionios?

Fanzine "Leva Tribina" (Serbia)

The idea of creating zina "Leva tribina" appeared a few months ago and we are currently implement this project. Was initiated by the people of a small, informal, non-hierarchical Militant anti-fascist groups from Nis (city in south-eastern Serbia).  Fanzine is a continuation of the same name of the blog, which was created six months ago. As the name implies fanzine (and blog) cover the activities of left-wing and anti-fascist groups of fans, mainly from the sphere of football.

St. Pauli Polish Supporters

We are John Marten's Crew – the only official Sankt Pauli fanclub in Poland. Name of Our Crew, derived from John Kuna who was a Polish pirate. John Kuna is a a the hero of the novel written by Janusz Meissner.

John Kuna (ps. Marten or de Marten - from ang. Martens name) (b. Approx. R.- died in 1559. February 24, 1599 r.), A fictional and literary character, Danzig privateer in the service of the English, French and Polish.

Brigada 97 (Deportivo Guadalajara)

To talk about Guadalajara is talking about a social phenomenon around the country, since its immense achievements are based in pure talent from Mexican players only, for more than 100 years of existence in Mexican football. 

The "Sacred herd" is considered as the most popular team in Mexico thanks to its roots and tradition.

RFC Lions Ska

“RFC Lions Ska Football Club” was born in Caserta (Italy) in 2011, from an idea of a group of boys and girls sharing the passion for sport and ska music. It is not just about a ‘normal’ football team, but it is a free association of people, open to everybody who agrees on the principles of the project (both in- and outside the field): to carry forward a different understanding of what football should be, open and accessible for everybody, grounded on the values of antiracism and pursuing the eradication of every kind of discrimination.

The history of fan movement Super 3 (Aris Thessaloniki)

Aris Thessaloniki was founded in 1914 in Votsi an area close to the historical centre of Thessaloniki.  Aris is considered up to now and despite the tough economic situations that, beyond others,  lead the football club in the 2nd division this past year, one of the most successful teams in Greece, as it counts numerous titles in every sport (4th in that list , coming after Olimpiakos , Panathinaikos and AEK).

A new criminal case started against Mikalai Dziadok

On November 20 Mikalai Dziadok was charged with malicious disobedience to the demands of prison administration (art.411). This became known from a state lawyer, who had been called to attend the procedure. The case was started on November 13. In the near future the anarchist will be transferred to the pre-trial detention centre as a defendant.

Before that Dziadok had spent 8 days in a punishment cell, and was transferred to the solitary confinement.

The story of this interview is different from how interviews are usually recorded. The person answering the questions is in the place not very accessible for journalists – Lefortovo Moscow Pretrial Detention Facility that is still known as RF FSB SIZO (RF FSB SIZO - pre-trial detention facility of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation – transl.).

Lefortovo is the prison that has both special detention conditions and special security measures.

Moscow Autonomous Action on the Ukrainian war

This text was written as an answer to our foreign friends' questions about situation in the Eastern Ukraine and Russian anarchists' attitude towards that. We hope it will be of use to everybody interested in these matters.

The situation is complex and controversial and you should understand that the text below does not (and can't) reflect the opinion of all Russian anti-fascists and anti-capitalists. We discussed this within our group, but even here we have a couple of contradicting points of view.

Disturbances lecture series 18th of October: Mikhail Bakunin 200 years

In Kupoli, Uusi ylioppilastalo, Mannerheimintie 5 B 7th floor on October 18th.

This year is the 200th anniversary of the birth of Russian revolutionary and anarchist Mikhail Alexandrovich Bakunin.

Bakunin was not only founder of the collectivist anarchism, but also a in the center of revolutionary events. He took part to five uprisings, and he was sentenced to death twice. Bakunin foresaw shortcomings of Marxist pro-state flavor of socialism 50 years before it was put to practice.

Summary of anarchist support activities for public and welfare services wildcat strike in Helsinki 23rd of September

The trade union for public and welfare services (JHL) went on wildcat strike to oppose the "marketization" of Palmia, a municipally-owned service enterprise. Right-wing leadership of the city attempts to reorganise 50% of Palmia so that it must participate to tenders, which will lead to substantial wage cuts for the workers. The seizure of subway and tram transport by striking workers proved to be a powerful weapon in the struggle against the bosses. However, the Helsinki Regional Transport Authority (HSL) organized replacement transportation to nullify its effect.

Demonstration against war in Ukraine in Helsinki

YYA (Ystävyys, Yhteistoiminta ja Avunanto -network) organized 8.9.2014 a demonstration opposing the war in Ukraine. The demonstration opposed Russia's invasion in Ukraine, the war in Ukraine and demanded end to the war crimes.

Out of many human rights violations in the war, the demonstration emphasized the kidnappings of movie director Oleg Sentsov and antifascist Alexander Koltšenko, who were taken to Russia. The demonstrarion didn't support any army or state and opposed every kind of nationalism. About 70 people showed their solidarity by attending the demonstration.

Interview with a member of fan group Red Boys (Paniliakos, Pyrgos)

Once again, we had an interview with a representative of the Greek fan scene. This time we will focus on the Peloponnese and the small town of Pyrgos in particular. This area is known for its rich history in the ancient period, but about local fan movement is not so much information. Therefore we decided to fill this gap and talked to anti-fascists fan Paniliakos. About the club and the city of Pyrgos of course, few people know, however, far from here there was a settlement Olympia where for the first time passed known around the world Olympic games.'
