Volunteers: The KFAI Bylaws ratification vote is underway; we're waiting to hear from you!
A vote by KFAI volunteers to ratify recent Board-proposed Bylaws changes has begun, with ballots and helpful summaries distributed online and throughout the KFAI studios. Thirty-nine motivated volunteers have voted already. That's great (and greatly appreciated) but it still leaves us not quite halfway to the quorum of voters we need to ratify these changes.
Candidates sought for next month's KFAI Board of Directors election
Elections to the KFAI Board of Directors will be occuring in mid-November, and the search for candidates has begun. We predict 2019 will be an action-packed year for KFAI Community Radio and its Board, and we will need talented, hard-working people to make it all happen. This is a working board, and we are particularly seeking motivated individuals with skills and experience in fundraising, grantwriting, finance, communications/writing, Web/technology and legal.
