Demo PRS-521
From Garageband.com:
The Tranques are Rory Schoenheider on guitar and vocals. Jimmy Wallin on bass. "Retro" Roger Debace lead guitars and vocal, all formerly of Willful Neglect a speed metal punk outfit and Mike Mayer on drums…
This was recorded in 1988 after the Heavy Whispers single was released. These were intended for a follow-up 45 (PRS-521), which made it to test-pressing stage, but was unreleased. A lot less Willful Neglect here, but still pretty rockin’. If you haven’t guessed, I’m a big Willful Neglect fan, so this was a great little bonus find. Rumor has it that Havoc Records will be re-releasing the two original Willful Neglect EP’s on vinyl in the near future. Hell yes! (for those hoping that I will post those EP’s…I’m intentionally avoiding those posts because of this rumor, and the fact that you can still buy the CD here .)
Two tracks can be downloaded from the Garageband site, Click the "play All" button, then you’ll be given the option to download the two MP3’s.

Heavy Whispers
Classic Minnesota punk rock. These tracks are actually from the unreleased 3rd album by St. Paul hardcore legends Willful Neglect "Big Enough to Get it". Six more tracks from this album were released in 2003 in as part of the Willful Neglect CD "1982-1984" which also included the 2 MLP’s.
Well worth the time to find this baby….and I would guess you could purchase one here along with the CD if you like the track below.
Only one track posted, but worth it.

WCCO TV report
How many people in this video do you recognize? Wow! Classic video. Big thanks to Ollie Stench & John Kass for posting this.
KCOR
Willful Neglect evolved into The Tranques. They released a 2 song 7" on Prospective Records (Heavy Whispers) which was actually two songs from the never released 3rd Album, Big Enough to Get it. About half that unreleased album was added to the CD release of the first 2 EP’s.
This song is not from that 7" single, and not from the Big Enough to Get it album. This was recorded in 1988 as a followup to the Heavy Whispers single. The single has been unreleased to date. The line up appears to be Willful Neglect minus Wade (singer) and Scott (Drummer). Scott was replaced with a new drummer, and singing duties were handled by Rory.
Anyway too much babbling. Enjoy this little nugget. I really do.

Lung Cookies Compilation
Smoke Seven/Your Flesh
The influence of Your Flesh was pretty heavy since almost half the bands are from Minnesota. Classic early 80’s Minnesota punk from Final Conflict, Otto’s Chemical Lounge, Willful Neglect, Boy Elroy, Red Meat & Ground Zero. Check this one out!

Reflex C.
The Kitten comp is one of the defining moments in the Minneapolis punk scene. A document of the punk and hard core bands that put Minnesota on the map. It has since been re-released on CD by Garage D’or Records . It probably sounds a whole lot better than this tape ever did. Once you sample the cassette, head over and buy the CD.
Once again, linked from the fabulous Download Underground site. Head over and get this!
