self titled Christmas EP

How great is this?  Post #200 on Christmas day…and it’s a Christmas EP!

Ollie Stench is a veteran of the MPLS punk scene.  He was the final singer for the infamous Iron Fist.  He played bass for the Subversives.  He currently sings for Gash and The Ed Gein Fanclub.  He is also the bartender for the wildly popular Drinking With Ian TV show. Some bands that he has also been involved in are; The Dive Bomb Honeys, Trapazoids & Chinamen….I’m sure there are others too.  The MN Punk scene owes a debt of gratitude to this man.

So a couple of years ago Ollie decided to record a Christmas record, with that special Ollie Stench slant.  This 2 song master piece tells it the way it is.  The Christmas that everyone knows, and no one talks about.  Stop reading and grab the theme song to your Christmas now!

Subversives

Tomorrow belongs to no one 12" EP (Vulture Rock 1996)

Who would have ever thought the term "Minnesota" and "Oi!" would ever be used in the same sentence?   Well the Subversives were a Minneapolis Oi! band featuring the one and only Ollie Stench on bass guitar.  I don’t know much about the rest of the guys in this band, other than I believe at some point they were stupid enough to kick Ollie out of the band.  Crazy.

Anyway, I found this baby on yet another blog site that posts in a language that I don’t read.  However, just like me, I’ll bet you understand the international language of rock and you’ll have no trouble finding the download link.
