This report provides an overview of achievements and resuls of interventions of the UNDP in the Kyrgyz Republic for 2017.

Summary of Gender Profile of the KR – 2017 that contains the latest data on Gender equality of the country and where Kyrgyzstan stands in achieving parity in Parliament, preventing violence against women, participation of women in labor force and etc.
This special issue of the Barak Elde tells about the results of the UNDP-GEF project on “Improving the coverage and management effectiveness of PAs in the Central Tian Shan Mountains” and the work of the newly established State Nature Park “Khan-Teniri” in Central Tian-Shan mountains, ecological corridors and how Issyk-Kul’s residents are helping with protection of wildlife.
