Kill the closet: National Coming Out day
I have no idea what was the motivation / inspiration behind the 1980 pop music hit I’m Coming Out by Diana Ross, but I can’t think of a more appropriate song. The lyrics, intent and emotion match exactly how I felt after I came out and make it the perfect song to share on National Coming Out Day.
Vintage gay
I can’t help but think if we were contemporaries, I would’ve enjoyed knowing these two men. Rarely are vintage gay photographs so provocative.
I dedicate this weekly post, featuring vintage gay photographs, to the men and women who lived in a more critical time where being true to yourself and loving who you want wasn’t always an option and came at a great price. Brady Bunch reboot: ‘Where’s Alice?’
Sergio and I had friends over this past weekend and after a few glasses of wine had been poured, we started having fun with Instagram. And this was the end result. Looking through the photos the following day, I started to arrange them as shown above, and I couldn’t help but think this could make for a funny modern day reboot of the Brady Bunch.
This week on Instagram: theroni89
I don’t know much about this Boston-based photographer other than he takes beautiful photos of Boston and clearly has a passion for cars, because his Instagram feed is chock-full of both. I’m more partial to the night shots of Boston like this one of the Zakim Bridge shot at night.
