It’s the 45th anniversary of the assassination of the representative of the international proletariat in Turkey, the founder of the TKP/ML (Communist Party of Turkey/Marxist-Leninist) Ibrahim Kaypakkaya.

Comrade Ibrahim Kaypakkaya was only 24 when he was murdered by the severe tortures from the fascist Turkish state on the 18th of May. Kaypakkaya founded the TKP/ML when he was 23 years old.

This past November 7th, heeding to the call of the Revolutionary Communist Party, a strong contingent of partisans of socialism took to the streets and marched through downtown Montreal to mark the centennial of the Great October Revolution of 1917.
