Opportunity

Twitter is seeking a Global Brand Activations Lead to drive our global brand campaigns, content programs and experiential activations. With consumer marketing teams working in our major markets to build our brand and drive consideration for Twitter, this individual will be responsible for driving truly global brand work, as well as connecting successful regional activations into larger programs. They will also be a key consultant to all regional brand campaigns. The ideal candidate will have strong experience of developing global campaign strategies, managing global campaigns, as well as managing creative and media agencies. This role reports to the Director, Global Brand.


Responsibilities

  • Lead global campaign strategy and develop global brand work, working collaboratively with regional marketing leads. Help communicate key consumer benefits around the world.
  • Manage global creative agencies, drive the best work, and ensure Twitter is a great partner to work with.  
  • Act as key consultant to regional marketing teams and their brand campaigns and activations - help drive consistency in strategy and message.
  • Lead content series and programs that are important in all markets - e.g. International Women’s Day.
  • Work closely with regional marketing leads to elevate highly effective local activations to global programs.
  • Drive innovation in how our brand can show up around the world, in media, but also in experiences. Lead activations and objects that can be used around the world.
  • Serve as a trusted leader in the Marketing organization.
  • Represent the Twitter brand in everything you do.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 8-12+ years experience working in high functioning marketing and / or agency teams.
  • Proven experience leading strategy for large / influential brands, and helping these brands grow.
  • Experience in leading integrated global brand campaigns
  • Experience working with and managing creative agencies.
  • Fluency in media planning and buying.
  • A big thinker who can take multiple, evolving inputs, and condense to simple, powerful positioning and messaging.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, with an ability to unearth insights, and tell stories through data.
  • Great writing ability - ability to write very clear, focused briefs.  
  • Comfort with public speaking and pitching ideas to senior leadership.
  • A demonstrated passion for Twitter.
