    Crucial advice.

    One of my early mistakes in the 1st two years of building a co was building new products because users seemed happy. That lack of focus put us back a year. It's usually a mistake to expand to a new mkt because the product is "done" for the primary one but your mkt share is < 1%.

    Picked up the 25th anniversary edition of Allan Bloom’s THE CLOSING OF THE AMERICAN MIND. The foreword by Saul Bellow is annoying. The preface by Bloom is inspiring. And the new afterword by Andrew Ferguson is just a delight.

    Just started reading a book about how the CIA helped spread western art in communist countries in order to subvert totalitarian regimes. The book frames this as a bad thing. Me, I’m like, “DOUBLE THE CIA’S BUDGET, THIS IS ALL FANTASTIC."
