Description of issue:
When using a link from Kaltura on iOS if you click onto the specific tweet (not the URL) in the Twitter app, the video player loads inline but doesn’t work correctly - the play icon doesn’t go away when the video is playing and the player is not responsive.

Thanks chief, we are seeing the issue:
When using the Kaltura player in Twitter app, there are reported issue both in iPhone and Android

  1. iOS - When clicking onto the specific tweet (not the URL) in the Twitter app, the video player loads but doesn’t work correctly - the control bar disappears, the play icon doesn’t go away when the video is playing, and there is no option for closed captioning.

@andypiper thank you for your response, The expected behavior is that for the player to play inline within twitter instead of getting a redirect to a different page.

Currently we are gettings redirected to an external page

So you have a player card defined on a website and you’re saying that on the web (on on mobile?) it redirects you to a separate site? Is this in the timeline or in an individual Tweet?
