PBA Chases de Blasio in Texas

Media outlets in NYC and Texas report on the PBA’s pop-up protest outside Mayor de Blasio’s appearance at a festival in Austin. Members of the Austin Police Association — which is also locked in a contract battle with its city — and the Combined Law Enforcement Associations of Texas (CLEAT) also joined to show their solidarity. Stories appeared in the Texas Tribune, on Fox 7 and KLBJ radio in Austin and on Fox 5 and NBC 4 in NYC.
