Banksy artwork self-shreds seconds after being sold at auction for more than $1 million

The artwork, titled Girl With Red Balloon, had just been sold at Sotheby's Auction House for £860,000 ($1.12M US) when suddenly it began to drop down through its frame which concealed a shredder and sliced the piece into strips. It's unclear whether the auction house will provide a refund for the artwork, or if it has in fact gone up in value.
