At its root, anarchism is based on some assumptions of egalitarian relations. By default this implies a hostility to racism, fascism, and sexism (among other isms). Presumably that would make anarchists (almost by default) anti-racist, anti-fascist, and anti-sexist. However, anarchist history is filled with examples of thinkers and actors who don’t quite walk the walk, or, maybe if we are being charitable, don’t see the gaps between their praxis and their ideals.

After the hearing of winter 2018, mainly reports on specific alleged facts against the accused and the outline of the accusatory scheme on the crime of association according to the Digos of Turin, from 8th April to 16th May some ROS officers from Perugia – Rossi, Mencarelli, Simeon, Mariucci, Passeri – paraded themselves, some of whom are still in service there, others transferred to similar offices elsewhere in the country, to relate on the ‘Ardire’ investigation, later included in Scripta Manent, with digressions and providential amnesia on other investigations and files connected to anti-anarchist monitoring activity starting from so called operation Brushwood to operation Shadow, mainly through telematic, telephone, environmental interceptions and control of letters.

On September 10, an operational command assaulted the maximum security prison of Joao Pessoa (northeastern Brazil). The group composed of about 20 individuals mounted on 4 vehicles, after knocking down the main gate completely attacked the prison infrastructure through bursts of rifles and explosives, managing to free 92 prisoners, of which only 41 were recaptured.

On the evening of May 12th, 2018 – the day before Mother’s Day – our friend and comrade Pablo accepted a bike courier gig that would offer extra money for working in inclement weather at night – app based food delivery service Caviar. In the darkness and rain of that night his tire became lodged in a storm drain leading to the fatal accident which took his life. Pablo was 34 years old. He was full of life and love. He influenced and deeply touched the lives of so many. His many close friends, comrades, family members and loved ones will forever miss him, but carry him with them as they were all deeply influenced by his beautiful heart, mind and life.
This week we are very pleased to present an interview with Mango and Marin, who are mental healthcare workers based in New York City. We are going to get into a lot of topics, including anarchist critiques of psychiatry, ways that anarchists can be comrades with people who have survived the psych industry, and the Earth First MAD Camp. To be an anarchist is to be anti-nationalist. It is no coincidence that national-anarchists have so often turned out to be white supremacists — the movement itself is crypto-fascist. However, our critique of nationalism and related critiques of things like tribalism must deeply understand the different strategies behind different forms of nationalism if we are to not alienate our allies and relegate our dynamic movement to the ethical pit of genocide apologism.
For a long time, we hesitated how we would take the word. First of all, we have led discussions that have allowed us to understand what we have. Then we set up this site https://kronika.noblogs.org/ about global anarchist practice. That's what we missed here, and that makes sense to us.
The Hambacher Forest is in the focus of the media, since Thursday 13.09. is a major police operation inclusive SEK (Special Deployment Commando) evicting the tree houses. There are different ways of resistance, but especially the left press and NGO’s like to report about non violent protest, to claim it for themselves. In our report we want to focus on militance, but we don’t see it as the only important part of the protest. Here follows a chronic of militance, resistance and repression in Hambacher Forst. Of course this chronic is not complete, because many actions are done by small groups and we only know about the actions, that where told to us.
