If you were in front of the wireless last weekend you might have heard Paul McIntyre speaking with Tony Colman about a photo he’d found from 1906 of the New Town Harriers.
Following the conversation, Paul was put in contact with Wayne Fletcher, who assists Athletics Tasmania with their archive.
Wayne was able to find another photo from the archive, of a team from 1910 - where one particular face stood out – this time with the name Fred Hallam attached (standing, arms crossed) – who also appeared in the 1906 picture.

If you've been following the story of Fred Hallam and the old Athletics Tasmania photograph from 1906, Producer Paul has an update on the lad known as the Tasmanian Soldier Athlete.
