About MailChimp

MailChimp is the world’s largest marketing automation platform for small business. We democratize cutting-edge marketing technology for small businesses, creating innovative products that empower our customers to grow. Millions of people and businesses around the world trust MailChimp to publish the right content, to the right person, at the right place, at the right time. The company started in 2001 as a side project; today, MailChimp is still 100% founder owned, highly profitable, and headquartered in Atlanta with additional offices in Brooklyn and Oakland.

Culture

We help our team members grow in their current roles and dream about what's next. MailChimp works to create a healthy, balanced company culture that sustains a long-term, creative workforce, and encourages a healthy work-life balance. Our employees are encouraged to attend events, share what they do, and take time off to volunteer or learn new skills.

As part of our commitment to diversity and inclusion, we’re cultivating an equitable and empathetic workplace, a listening and learning culture, and an empowered and inspired community.

MailChimp University, an MBA-style program developed with Emory University professors, is offered to all employees. We also have an apprenticeship program, which gives people without prior experience the opportunity to try out technical roles.

MailChimp also hosts writers, designers, comedians, artists, and other interesting folks at our regular Coffee Hour series, so we stay inspired by people in different industries.

Our headquarters are in the historic Ponce City Market, right on the Atlanta BeltLine. Our workspace is designed for collaboration, featuring a mix of open office areas, quiet spaces, and an employee-run library. In addition to our Atlanta presence, we also have growing offices in Oakland and Brooklyn.

Community

MailChimp serves the people and organizations in Atlanta that help make our city better, weirder, and more human.

We help tackle intergenerational poverty by partnering with nonprofits like Literacy Action that are dedicated to developing people. We help strengthen arts organizations, like Living Walls, which brings the best street artists from around the world into our neighborhoods. We connect employees with our investments in Atlanta through programs like MailChimp Community College, which equips MailChimp employees with the tools to think deeply about fostering equity and inspiring positive change in our hometown of Atlanta. And we advocate for considerate urbanism alongside the Atlanta Bicycle Coalition and MARTA, our regional transit agency.

We love Atlanta and want to make sure it’s a place where creativity is rewarded and where great ideas come to life. MailChimp has invested more than $4 million in our community—and we’re just getting started.
