About 4.30pm yesterday footy reporters Jake Niall and Peter Ryan went down to the cafe on the ground floor of Media House for a chat. Little did they know that 60 short-listed candidates for the Age trainee program were about to turn up. It was a great scene seeing Jake and Pete talking footy, surrounded by dozens of nervous twenty-somethings waiting for their interviews.
